This article is about the swine flu pandemic being a threat to global businesses and investors. The pandemic is discombobulating travel plans and sending stock markets down. I chose this article because it's scary to now that it can worsen our economy right ow in this period of crisis. Because of this swine flu pandemic, travelers are deciding to stay home which puts the travel and tourism industry in a bad position. I agree with what's happening because this flu is problably going to be the cause of businesses closing. In my opinion this information has been presented fairly because it shows the downside of something that could be very catastrophic to our economy. I would definitly use this news source again because of the way it puts the major point across.

Judy, I thought your choice was terrific. Isn't it fascinating that something you'd think totally unrelated to the economy could have an economic impact, as if the economy weren't already bad enough without it. I hope it's not as bad as you think -- the article did have a quote saying it won't be a catastrophe, which you didn't mention.
