This article is about how banks are getting more money form TARP but are giving less loans.banks are starting to look at the ratio between debt and ones income.I chose to write about this article because the economy is in crisis and more peolpe are trying to get loans to pay some of there debts and banks are not giving loans like there supose to.I do not agre with what the banks are doing becase people ar4e trying to rely on the banks for help but there not helping. This information has been presented in a in a fair way because it has informed the public with what the banks are doing.This i think can afect the crisis in economy because pleople are going to get in debt and there going to los

  1. Marieli, Good article. This one really hit home for me, because I have two kids in college and I also received a loan last summer but could not get one two months later. I also agree that they looked at all sides of it. At first glance you do want to get mad at the banks, but the article does kind of balance that out. It is good to know that someone is keeping track of whether our tax dollars are doing what they're supposed to!
