In this article, Obama speaks of attempting to get the U.S. out of a recession by adding 3 million jobs to the economy. I chose this article because its very relevant to the economy and how it is today. Unemployment was decreasing and to see this was a relief that there is hope for those in need of employment. This will greatly get us out of the recession that we are in today. I cant really say i agree with this article because there is nothing to agree with all i can say is that im relieved and satisfied with what Obama has planned. This information has been presented fairly becuase it is one of the things that need to be done in the economy. I would use this news source because it is a necessity to towatrds the economy today.

ReplyDeletePepper, This was an interesting choice of article. Essentially the writer says that he's NOT sure if tax cuts will help the economy because people may not spend the extra money, which I had talked about in class. Also, the part you quote -- about the stimulus plan creating 3 million jobs and pulling us out of the recession -- is not from the article, but rather quoting what the President and Democrats claim will happen. That doesn't necessarily make it so. A good choice, but your summary is a bit incomplete.
