109 Cities At 10% or Higher

unemployment rates in 109 metropolitan areas have reached 10% or higher....that is almost eight times more than the year earlier. Jobless rates of at least 15% were reported in March in 18 areas compared with only one El Centro, Claifornia the previous year. The number of metropolitan regions that had unemployment rates under 7% dropped to 95 from 23299 in March 2008. El Centro continues to have the highest metropolitan unemployment rate at 25.1%. The ton near the border relies on agriculture employment, the area employment rate rises and falls depending on the farming season. I chose this article because i'm trying to find a job and right now im guessing its just impossible. Everything in this article seems accurate......i hope because i like cnn. I think this information has been presented fairly i think the author does not show any biases towards the situation. of course i would use cnn agian.

  1. Deishnae, Another good job. Try and be careful about picking an article so short you wind up practically copying it instead of summarizing it. Also be careful in your copying: the number 23299 in your blog should be 329. I know the numbers are discouraging, but I do think you'll be able to get a summer job, or even a permanent one. It may be a bit harder than it was last year at this time, but I think it's possible.
