The Democratic Senate said that 32 members were needed to approve the bailout of New York City's transit system.They are trying to avoid fare increases and service cuts. I think that this is important because under the bailout fares would rise 8%, but layouts and service cuts would still be avoided. I agree because even though fares are going up, we would keep workers from being layed off wich is worse. To me this article was fair. It made me understand both point of views in the bailout. I would use this new source again because it helps me know what is happening around were I live.
