Republicans Attacking Obama on Terror Policy

After weeks of concentrating their attacks against President Barack Obama on the economy, Republicans are branching out. They're taking aim at his anti-terrorism policy. House Republican leader John Boehner ask what does is Obama plan to do when an another terrorist threat or attack happens? Many republicans are raising doubts about Obama's early performance as commander in chief. Vice President Dick Cheney said Obama's actions "raise the risk" of another terrorist attack like the one on Sept. 11, 2001. He is basically saying that everything Obama is doing is making it easier for terrorist to attack us. Republicans also uestioned Obama's decision to shut down Guantanamo Bay detention facility. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell questioned Obama saying"Will these trained terrorists be allowed to travel freely anywhere in the United States? What will their status be? Will they be allowed to stay here permanently?" The reason why I choose this article is because iam a follower of Obama and his ways and i believe what he is doing is all for a step in the future to help us. I honestly do not agree with what the Republicans are saying about Obama because Obama is trying to make the economy better and restore what the former president has left him. The information was present fairly and very easily and understandable. i would definitely use this source again it gives very valuable information.

Tyler, Good job summarizing and commenting on the article. I also thought the article was a fair presentation of the Republican point of view, but I realized after reading it that I would have wanted more about how the Democrats answered. I do wish you had picked an article more directly related to the economy -- even if only to say that the Republicans are faulting Obama on terrorism because they can't on the economy!
